Mud bogging, a family tradition

Assignment Three – Self proclaimed crazy cat lady

Within minutes of sitting down with Autumn Scott, the feline supervisor at the Isabella County Animal Shelter, I was immediately aware of how much love she pours into her job every day. When I asked Scott about the best part of her day she forced back tears and had to take a break from the interview. That was the moment when I knew it was going to be a great interview.

The animal shelter in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. is a great place to volunteer. Scott notes that Saturdays are very busy and suggests scheduling an appointment ahead of time. You can do this by calling, (989) 775-0830.
