More photos that I shot while working on an in class assignment for my first day in JRN220. I loved the idea of going out and photographing with a clear mind. There are so many times that I let my mind tell me that I am not doing a good job, therefore, I make a subpar image.
In class assignment from 8/28/2013
This is the photo I chose to share with the class because at that moment in time it was the photo I felt was the strongest without toning. I also liked the composition. I am not used to shutting my mind off and focusing on the image. I am used to constantly telling myself, “remember to do this, don’t forget to keep that out, what about composition, is the person I am photographing in a flattering position?” It can be exhausting and really turn me off to my own work. With the tips I have learned from this lesson I feel like I can take better photos because I will not be critical of myself at every waking second.
